Had a great morning in Kent watching the sunrise and seeing the birds in The Swale as we camped overnight right by the river at The Ferry Pub at Harty :) We then watched Marsh Harriers soaring over the fields on Sheppey before making the trip back to Felixstowe

After yesterdays near 5 hour epic sail around Sheppey we arrived home at midday and checked The Dip on the way home and several mates were out out with 8.5 135 lt boards and the sun was out and the sea was fairly flat.So after unloading the bikes and sorting out my trailor arrived at The Dip at one and as I have had two really longboard sails over the last 3 days it was short board or nothing !!! By the time time the wind had picked up enough for me to use 7.5 on the zantos the sun had gone,the rain started and the tide was nearly in making the sea very big,so had an hour battling the bumps before giving up as the wind dropped not much fun - good to see my mates :)
